This lesson pack, designed for early secondary school students, introduces them to primary and secondary sources from the W.B. Yeats collection at the National Library of Ireland.

It encourages pupils to explore how Irish folklore influenced Yeats' poetry. By examining original manuscripts and other primary sources, students will investigate how Yeats drew inspiration from fairytales and folklore, analysing the ways these elements are woven into his work.

This engaging lesson allows students to deepen their understanding of the cultural and literary connections between Yeats and traditional Irish storytelling.
